Residential real estate specializing in divorce - In divorce real estate, appraisal minus loan balance does not equal equity. Many divorcing couples are not doing their due diligence when it comes to determining the value of the marital house. They overlook factors that can cause serious problems for both spouses after the divorce, problems such as damaged credit, default, foreclosure, and bankruptcy. Many of these problems can be prevented during the divorce, but can’t be fixed after the divorce.
